Kedarkantha is a 6,857-meter (22,515 ft) high peak in the Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. It is a popular trekking destination, especially during the winter months (December to March).
The Kedarkantha winter trek is a challenging but rewarding experience. The trek begins from Sankri village, which is located at an altitude of 2,400 meters (7,874 ft). The trail winds through dense forests and meadows, and eventually reaches the Kedarkantha base camp at an altitude of 4,000 meters (13,123 ft). From the base camp, it is a steep climb to the summit, which is covered in snow all year round.
The winter trek is more challenging than the summer trek, as the trail is covered in snow and ice. However, it is also more rewarding, as the views from the summit are spectacular. The snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, the clear blue sky, and the vast expanse of the valleys below are truly breathtaking.https://devdhamyatra.com/kedarkantha-trek-package-uttarakhand
